The best exfoliating glove I’ve ever used

The best exfoliating glove I’ve ever used

Having struggled with serve eczema and dry skin throughout my entire life, I was shocked with the results after I used my WILDPIER glove for the first time. I never thought I would be able to achieve this type of deep exfoliation from the comfort of my own home. Seeing the dead skin just roll off my body was surprising as I considered myself to be a consistent exfoliator – however, my WILDPIER glove showed me what natural exfoliation should look like.

Why use an exfoliating glove

The skin naturally sheds dead skin cells every 30 days. Dry skin is visible when the dead skin cells do not shed completely, however exfoliating can help prevent this from happening.

A few of the many benefits of exfoliating include brightening the skin, preventing acne, unclogging pores, preventing ingrown hairs, and increasing collagen production. Chemical exfoliation treatments can achieve amazing results; however, these types of treatments are often expensive, time consuming, and require harsh chemical to be added directly onto your skin. WILDPIER exfoliating gloves are not only woven using high quality plant fibres, but they also allow you achieve deep exfoliation results (using only water) that you are in complete control of.

After a few minutes of using your WILDPIER exfoliating glove, you may notice that your skin will begin to peel. What you are seeing is a build-up of oil, dirt, product residue and other impurities that were left on top layer of your skin.  This deep exfoliation will detox your skin, leaving you with a beautiful and healthy glow. When using your WILDPIER glove, you can also adjust the amount of pressure that you use when exfoliating the skin, therefore making sure that you’re not over exfoliating your skin.

While it is not recommended to use WILDPIER exfoliating gloves everyday day due to the deep exfoliation that this glove can offer, you can use your WILDPIER exfoliating glove once a week. Cleaning your WILDPIER glove is also extremely easy – just rinse your WILDPIER glove with natural soap and hang to dry.

How to use your WILDPIER exfoliating glove

Step One - Prepare Glove:

Place your new WILDPIER glove under hot water. Turn off the hot water and squeeze the glove to release any access water. You may notice that your glove may shrink slightly when rinsed for the first time. Place your glove in a safe place near the bathtub or shower for easy access.

Step Two - Soften Skin:

Take a hot and steamy bath or shower for 10 minutes to soften your skin. The softer your skin is, the better exfoliation you will obtain.

Step Three - Prepare Body:

Turn off the hot water if you are taking a shower or drain the bathtub if you are taking a bath. Ideally you would remain in the bathtub or the shower. Avoid drying yourself off and make sure that your skin remains moist. Ensure that your body is clean of any soap or bubbles.

Step Four - Use Glove:

Place your hand inside the moist glove. Begin to firmly (but not too firmly!) move the glove up and down and side to side across your body. Long and firm strokes work best. For lymphatic flow benefits, stroke upwards towards your heart.

Be extra gentle on your sensitive areas. You may notice your skin start to peel after a few minutes. If this happens, avoid rinsing the peeling skin off your body as these skin particles will aid in further exfoliation.

Step Four - Rinse:

Once you have achieved your desired levels of exfoliation, rinse your body with water to wash away the skin particles. To finish off your exfoliating ritual, apply your favorite body oil or moisturizer.

Step Five - Wash Glove:

Hand wash your glove using natural soap and hang your glove to air dry. Repeat your exfoliating ritual weekly.

Step Six - Most Importantly:

Enjoy your glowing new skin!

A few things to note:
